Creating a journey for nature lovers, above and through nature. The project covered the many aspects of designing how one could explore, live, and learn about the local island's lush nature, Pulau Ubin, has to provide. With Camping Pods, bridges, and more, the Iris of Ubin is set to give visitors an experience they will never forget.
Foreword
Wildlife fazing out and blending in with the man-made. Shadows soften and layered in multiple tones and sizes upon hitting the dense foliage. Withering and blossoming flora punctured by the sunlight forming organic patterns on the forest floor. Like aged trees, strong and holding up the land's history, pillars that support the diverse ecosystem and biodiversity.
The stage is set for extraordinary architecture to be built.
Hoping to design systems and structures that camouflage with the natural environment while subtly introducing something fresh and new. The project will build a part of the island that will evolve with time but remain a space where people and creatures alike will come once and come again.
