The Mixed Market Massing @ Duxton

We are all connected in this world. Who we are, what we become; it is shaped by our interaction with those who cross our paths and the many things we experience. Not only does this apply to people but also to the environment.
This project's thoughts and concepts were centered around the core idea to let us better experience one another in our day-to-day experiences. Whether going to work or meeting a friend, we should be going around smiling at each other because we are all part of that one community.

Aiming to become a model for how space can transition from history to future movements of a prosperous city nation, this extreme end of Duxton Plain Park has been chosen to be the spot to carry out this project.  Situated nearer to Tanjong Pagar and along the commonly taken route of residences and office workers around the area, this site foresees more significant popularity among locals and visitors. 
Furthermore, with the neighbouring eating spots sandwiching it, Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market and the Essen @ The Pinnacle, this site has become a hotspot for a greater diversity of people and an overall more colourful place from morning to night.
In conclusion, it is with much hope that the project would add value and complement the interconnected and potential-filled site. Secondary goals include addressing nature and heritage conservation and providing a more harmonious community bonding area for different recreational activity sorts from the young to the old.
