The morning sun shone brightly into his bedroom, spiking his eyes open. Spring had started and was now coming to an end, presenting summer and it's merciless heat. Each passing day only got hotter and the walk to school made him drip sweat like ice out of the freezer. However, that was not the main concern. Rachel Matthews, that angel from heaven has been turning heads in school. From the way she talks to the way she walks. Even by the seconds, Noah was getting more game from guys who tried to make a move on her. Even so, he had the upper hand. He sat just behind her in history, literature and math class, stayed directly opposite her and basically walked home with her every day. With all that taken into consideration, there was no excuse to him having no shot at getting her. "Damm crushes. Like a girl you can never get. She's out of my league. A girl like her and a guy like me?" Noah and his lousy self-esteem always got the better of him. The best part was that he knew he would never like any other girl the same way he liked Rachel.
